五月温哥華, 花明柳綠, 姹紫嫣红, 稱得上是個花園城市. 而這里天氣乍暖還寒, 雨水充足, 花草樹木份外鲜明. 隨便出外散散步, 很多住宅區美得像个花園. 春意盎然賞心悅目, 令人心曠神怡. 正是:

天街小雨润如酥，

草色遥看近却无。

最是一年春好处,

绝胜烟柳似皇都!

May in Vancouver, Spring color everywhere.
五月温哥華, 隨便出外走走, 感受一下春到人间萬物鮮的景像.

Most Crabapple blossoms are white but ours are pink.
西海棠(野苹果)多開白花, 這一棵的花却走是粉紅色. 果實不大未試賞其味.

Springtime in Chinatown.
春到唐人街. 你当然認得出圖中的大厦.

New Cherry Blossom outside Fraser Street Nofrill Store.
菲沙街新种櫻樹已開了很多花.

Common scenes in all parts of Vancouver.
温哥華到處可見的風景.

Last month was white cherry blossom; this month is pink cherry blossom.
場面壯觀與上月在公園的白色櫻花各有千秋.

波蘭社區安老院.

位于東南區. 獨處一偶, 静默如花.

公或私的地方均惹人好感. 亦覺賞心悅目.

花草樹木修剪保養得宜.

帶來舒適的居住環境.

多戶相連,春意盎然.

大街也綠葉成蔭

From spring going into early summer,
the following flowers are very common in Vancouver.
春夏之間, 以下都是這里常見的花朵

Such as Peony and Rhododendron.
例如牡丹(硬樹)或芍藥(軟枝)两者花朵大同小異.
右: 大种杜鵑花.

映山紅. 大种杜鵑之一.

温哥華大种杜鵑也有不同顏色, 个人比較喜歡白色.
We like the white rhododendron the best.

Azalea 乃細种杜鵑,联同大种的共有900多品種. 黄色的也好看但我們最愛白色的. 以前說过般屋移植不成功至今無法買回一棵純白杜鵑!

温哥華櫻花數十种, 形狀和顏色有些差別很大.

Heather 石南花.
與 Lavender (not in the picture)顏色相似但体態不同, 作用也不同 -Lavender 薰衣草温柔有用得多.

Lilacs. 白色丁香樹.
我们見慣見熟的有紅色和紫丁香.
Not in the picture: 有香味的 風信子又名洋水仙(Hyacinth)在花店一盆盆顏色也多樣化.

社區散步, 車少人稀.

細看滿園春色, 心曠神怡.

闲庭信步, 靜觀花開花落.

去留無意, 笑看雲卷雲舒.
