（中中网讯/刘耀国 报道）居住在大温哥华社区的中山人在各个领域都有杰出人士，梁少瑜是其中之一。她原服务于医疗界却醉心中国绘画艺术，有了心得之后引进西洋画风，再把这独特方法介绍给主流社会。她著有英文教科书两本，向不懂中文的读者传授中国画的入门技术, 易明实用, 是加拿大华人艺术家之创举。
她的画曾在本省多个市镇、安省和美国展出, 得奖无数。大家还可以在列治文看到她的街头艺术作品, 及在中山公园的最新画展 —— 本周日2011三月六日下午一点至三点, 由李灿明省议员等主持开幕礼，请大家抽空去欣赏。
Eileen was born in Zhong Shan, China, graduated from BCIT in Nuclear Medicine and Chemistry and have had worked in the field of health. Her passion in Chinese brush painting began in 1994, learning this traditional artform with several masters. Her work has been exhibited in many solo, group and juried shows in B.C., Ontario, Bellingham, and Spain. She also enjoy teaching this art medium at the Vancouver School Board, Surrey Art Centre and other venues.
Eileen is also an active volunteer for the arts community. She has served on the Board of the Burnaby Arts Council, chaired the Burnaby Artwalk Committee, and the Artists Among Us Studio Tour. In 2007, Eileen ventured as a Children Book illustrator, illustrated The Dream Jar, a Japanese Folktale. In 2010, Eileen is a successful applicant for the City of Richmond’s No. 3 Road Public Art Project.
Her paintings have received several awards which include First Place in the ArtsPacific 2002. First Pace in Surey Arts 2006. 2nd Place in the North Vancouver Juried Rental Exhibition, Hornorable mention in the Art of Being Together of L’Arche Greater Vancouver, 2011, and People Choice Award, in the Extreme Colour Show of the White Rock Community Centre.
