加拿大温哥华赏樱季节

2010 年由于气温明显回温，各种樱花李花将比往年提前开花。通常市区樱花会比社区提前一至二星期开花，紫叶李比黑叶李提前一星期开花，美国曙樱比染井吉野樱提前一星期开花，单瓣品种比重瓣品种提前开花。请随时注意新的导览活动时间。

温哥华市是世界上少数拥有36,000棵美丽的樱桃李与樱花树的花园都市。每年3月初至5月初， 4种李花树与40种樱花树开遍每个社区的大街小巷。花朵为单瓣或重瓣，花瓣薄如轻丝，从纯白到鲜红，甚至于黄绿色。各种樱花李花接二连三地开放，数千花朵开满整棵树，美如人间仙境。

二月下旬之后，通常以小彼岸樱与樱桃李为主的12,000棵樱李花将陆续开放。
二月下旬：十月樱(小彼岸樱 )、粉红十月樱(小彼岸樱)、慧空樱(小彼岸樱 )、紫叶樱桃李、黑叶樱桃李、重瓣樱桃李、白色樱桃李。

三月中旬之后，通常以曙樱与吉野樱为主的9,000棵单瓣与重瓣樱花将陆续开放。
三月份：福笑女神樱(豆樱) 、褒奖樱(小彼岸樱)、垂樱、美国曙樱(吉野樱 )。四月上旬：星垂樱、潘朵拉完美樱( 小彼岸樱)、直立白樱(豆樱)、大岛樱 (山樱)、书法樱、直立红樱(大山樱 )、八重红垂樱、染井吉野樱、史密提氏樱(甜樱)、海猫樱(豆樱 )、白妙樱(里樱)、美国曙樱( 吉野樱)。

四月中旬之后，通常以关山樱为主的15,000棵八重瓣樱花将陆续开放。
四月下旬：沙金特氏樱(大山樱)、太白樱(里樱) 、高砂樱(里樱)、鹰尾樱(里樱 )、御车返樱(里樱)、郁金樱( 里樱)、敦盛樱、关山樱(里樱)、垂菊樱 (里樱)、大提灯樱(里樱) 、银河樱(里樱)、松月樱(里樱 )、线卷樱(里樱)、一叶樱( 里樱) 、八重甜樱、细川潼樱。五月上旬：雪雁樱、江户樱、御衣黄樱、朱雀樱、完美粉红樱(里樱)、西藏樱、白普贤樱(里樱 )、潼味樱(里樱)、菊樱。

Akebono cherries in Oppenheimer Park make a beautiful display and have historical significance for Vancouver. In 1977, Japanese Canadian Issei pioneers planted 21 Sakura in the Park to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Canada’s first known immigrant from Japan. Those trees are now known as Legacy Sakura and they symbolize the perseverance and determination of early Japanese Canadian pioneers.

John Atkin, in his book Skytrain Explorer, mentions the flowering cherries on Wellington “put on a spectacular display of brilliant pink”. A scout has just seen them in early March, long before blooming time. They are big old trees, and we think they may be Akebonos. We will post photos in the Renfrew Collingwood Neighbourhood Blog when we see them (or if you take the photos, you can post them in that thread).
